Dr. Collins, born Nov. 19, 1970, in Salisbury, MD, and  finished high school in Asheville, NC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in Biology (honors program) with a minor in Nutrition from North Carolina State University and a medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
